For martial arts involving groundwork, grappling, and throwing, a Shore A density of 35-40 is ideal. However, these mats also work well for other disciplines like Jiu-Jitsu and MMA.

The EVA foam used in these tiles offers the perfect amount of firmness for athletes to push off from a stable surface. With these firm tiles, there are fewer concerns about rolled ankles as they do not sink deeply into the mats while working out.
